The phrase "mind-body" gets thrown around all the time in the wellness world but for me, Heartcore truly embodies that ideology. After undergoing brain surgery whilst at University, I had to completely rebuild my coordination, control and centre which I did through Pilates. I went from dancing on point shoes every day to being unable to stand up with my eyes closed — yet through Pilates I was able to understand and concentrate on how my body was working and connected which led me back to the possibility of a dance career. It is no surprise that after hanging up my dancing shoes I decided to focus on physical fitness and sharing the magic that is Pilates. My passion and commitment to teaching runs deep and leaving my studio in Colorado when I moved to London was almost as painful as leaving my friends and family! It is beautiful to see a discipline that can truly transform a body to its strongest and healthiest state. You’ll find that I’m a stickler for detail and knowledge, and you can always expect to be challenged physically and to learn something new about what your incredible body can do.
